Temp:  Arenas – We rocked!  Zooe and I convinced Wemb to have another go at Arenas … we managed to win one before Wemb had had enough!  LOL  It was a 3v3 and we had no healer!

Raiding – our team has once again consolidated and we are working well together as a team.

LFR continues to be a highlight, this week once again teaching rude people what it means to start up on someone from PoH.

Wych: I’ve been spending pretty much all of my non-raid/LFR time getting Transmog gear for my 3 primary toons:

Battle.net Item Restoration

Starting today, players can access a new system that will allow players to recover World of Warcraft items that they may have sold, destroyed or disenchanted: Battle.net Item Restoration.

With this new self-service option the recovery of an item or items that were recently deleted or sold to a vendor can be restored to a character immediately when using the ticket submission system on our support site. For any items that were accidentally disenchanted the same method can be used to request a review by Customer Support for restoration.

This restoration option may only be used once every 30 days on active World of Warcraft accounts that are in good standing. As this option has a limited availability and use, we still encourage caution when selling, deleting or disenchanting items.

While Customer Service always strives to help whenever we can, with the introduction of this self-help feature we will no longer be able to assist with these types of requests.

Basics

How can I access the restoration web form?

When you use the ticket submission system on our Battle.net Support site to request restoration for an item, you will see the item restoration service in addition to the normal ticket submission option.

How do I use the web form to restore my items?

When you select the item restoration service, you will first choose a character to receive the restoration. A sortable list of items that the character recently destroyed or sold will appear. You can select items to restore by clicking Add. Once you’re satisfied, click Continue and confirm your restoration. The restored items will be delivered to your character via in-game mail.

Restrictions

How often can I use the web restoration service?

Active World of Warcraft accounts in good standing (not locked or banned) may use the item restoration web form once every 30 days.

What items can be restored?

Items that were recently sold, destroyed, or disenchanted can be restored through the web form. Items lost in any other way — including through trade, crafting, and use, among others — will not be eligible for restoration through the web form.

What if an item I want restored isn’t appearing on the list?

If an item does not appear on the list, it is not available for restoration through the web form.

Restorations

When will I receive my restoration?

Sold and destroyed items will be restored to you immediately after completing the web form, and a ticket for any disenchanted items will be sent to Customer Support for review on your behalf.

How will I receive my restoration?

Restored items will be sent to your in-game mailbox. Items that were sold to a vendor will be mailed cash on delivery for their sale amount.

How do restorations work for disenchanted items?

Disenchanted item restorations must be reviewed by Customer Support. During the review process, any materials gained from disenchanting the item will be removed before the item is restored. If the materials cannot be recovered, restoration of the disenchanted item will not be possible.

When will I receive the restoration for my disenchanted items?

Restorations for disenchanted items will need to be reviewed by Customer Support. A ticket will be automatically submitted through the web form and the restoration will be delivered to your in-game mailbox when the review is complete. The amount of time the review takes will depend on the number of tickets in our queue.

Pet Battles Temporarily Enabled & Disabled

While we’ve received a number of questions and some feedback regarding the pet battle system added in the last beta patch, we’re in the process of disabling this feature. We know a lot of you are very anxious to test out pet battles, but it wasn’t our intention to introduce them to the beta at this stage, as we don’t yet feel they’re in a solid enough state to allow for meaningful feedback.

One we’re further along in development, we look forward to implementing pet battles and gathering your thoughts on the feature.

Dragon Soul: Power of the Aspects buff rises to 20% next week

At the completion of scheduled server maintenance during the week of April 30, the “Power of the Aspects” spell will grow more powerful, reducing the health and damage dealt of all enemies in the Dragon Soul raid by 20%. This spell will grow progressively stronger over time to reduce the difficulty and make the encounters more accessible. The spell will affect both normal and Heroic difficulties, but it will not affect the Raid Finder difficulty.

Don’t need the help of the Dragon Aspects? The spell can be disabled by talking to Lord Afrasastrasz at the beginning of Dragon Soul.

We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Soul, and that these changes encourage you to attempt a higher difficulty, or just keep pushing to down that next boss.

X-53 Recruit-a-Friend mount being retired soon

Heads up! The current Recruit-A-Friend reward mount, the experimental X-53 Touring Rocket, will soon be cycled out of the RAF program. If you’ve always wanted a Touring Rocket, but haven’t snagged one yet, this is your last chance to get one by bringing a friend to World of Warcraft.

While we don’t have an official launch date to reveal for the new Recruit-A-Friend mount, we wanted to give you an early heads up that the changeover will be happening “soon” (TM). You have a few weeks to claim the X-53 Touring Rocket before it goes away.

Temp:  Spent quite a bit of time not in game this week with Wemb on holidays!

Zooe and I had a horror run this week with our arenas and I think we were both glad when they were done!

BG’s were either spectacularly good or spectacularly bad on the weekend!

It was nice to get back into raiding after a week off!

The absolute highlight of my week had to be Wemb’s Kara Drinking Game on Saturday night.

Wych: Aside from Saturday night & last night’s raid I’ve pretty much been on a WoW diet free for the last 2 weeks

Patch 4.3.4 Live This Week

Patch 4.3.4 will be going live this week:

BattleTags

The first change is the addition of BattleTag support in the UI. Unfortunately there does not appear to be any way to add a player by their BattleTag at this time.

In the current state on the PTR, a player can add a friend by their BattleTag in the Diablo III beta, and then interact with that friend on the WoW PTR servers. This means that players may be able to add friends in a similar manner through the Diablo III game once it is released on May 15th, but will be unable to do so until then.

New Support Options

The second change is the addition of additional support options, such as reporting a player for their name or cheating from the target frame, rather than just the friends list or manually filling out their name in a ticket. The GM ticket UI now also allows you to submit bug reports and suggestions in game rather than on the forums.

Reporting a Player

If you encounter a player using an offensive name or foul language, violating our chat policies, or cheating, you can quickly right-click on their name in chat, and select Report Player For. If you have the character targeted, you can right-click their portrait and select Report Player.

Submitting a Bug

If you have stumbled upon a bug, you can report it to the World of Warcraft Development & Quality Assurance teams, directly through the Customer Support window. In the Customer Support interface, click Submit Bug and fill out the requested information.

Note: If a bug has seriously affected your character in a way that requires Game Master intervention (lost items, reputation, raid progress, etc.), Open a Ticket so we may investigate the situation.

Submitting a Suggestion

If you wish to provide feedback to the World of Warcraft team, you may do so directly through the Customer Support window. In the Customer Support interface, click Submit Suggestion and fill out the requested information. Be sure to be as specific and constructive as possible.

Note: By submitting a suggestion, you confirm that the suggestion is your own idea, the idea is not confidential, and you permit Blizzard Entertainment to use the idea publicly with no obligation to compensate you.

Hi all,
First of all, thanks for my Moonkin Hatchling it is beautiful, although not exactly House trained yet.

There I was driving back from the Gym listening to you guys and suddenly you say I won the prize again. So there i was crying in the car cause you’ve been so kind.
Then i heard the comment of why i won, Clare pondered on what i would have got if i’d sent the whole picture (giggle) Boys don’t get your hopes up it ain’t never gonna happen!!!!!
MoP – Well all I can say is My Panda is one cute babe, although she does have a worrying tendancy to drink alot, apparently this helps her fight although I have not seen massive evidence of this. She just tends to fall down alot. I still have to decide whether to go Horde or Alliance with her. I know you will tell me to go Horde and see the dark side.
On the Dwarf Hunter she is now level 23 working hard at getting all of the locations for her Loremaster.
Wych got all his questions right, damn him. Let’s see how Wemb gets on with his quiz , I spent time thinking about what I could tax him with:

Sylv here, just wanted to say thanks for the birthday wishes and the shout out on ep 165. The two weeks surrounding my birthday were consumed with being really really allergic to cats, (Suddenly. I have had cats for most of my life but recently they have been giving me real bad hives, so bad that i had to move out of my place and live with a friend.), birthday parties, and moving. TMI?
