This Bind On Equip episode is brought to you in part due to the kind sponsorship of Mattie F!!

I’d like to introduce you to my two cohosts, the first does his best work on the line between the dark and the light- its the Wych!

The other does her best work between the sheets- its Tempeste!

My name is Wembli, and this is my week..

Wembs week.

Picture a major industrial area road. Two lanes each way separated by another two lane width grass median strip. A driver who is not curious, not doofus, not tippy is doing a delivery. Reversing in on his blind side; so called because its on the side where you cannot physically look out the window to aid you.
Very easy reverse, the driveway is three trucks wide.
To me, reversing a semi trailer is all in the setup. You grab as much angle as you can get when going past the point you want to turn into, gently angle it some more as the back wheels approach the driveway, then you can let it rip as it enters the property and ease it off as you are backing up the driveway.
This guy left it all too late and had to do a bit of forward and back work.
Now one glance at the median strip would show that it is lush grass except opposite this driveway where it is muddy, wet and a deep hole. So where do you think this guy went to straighten up? And do you think he just put the steer wheels into there? Nope, the drive wheels went in too, and promptly sunk down to the axles!
For the next hour until heavy haulage arrived cars were going into the yard of the business, around his trailer and back out. Two trucks tried to pull him out of the mud; the first pulled his bull bar off, the second snapped two chains. The guy at the place said when the second one snapped all the broken links flew into the yard and he felt like he was in Afghanistan!
Eventually he was pulled out by professionals, but not before he made it into my week and I dub him Pigpen!

The Questions.

Freakin_Ninja1 Eric Ergen
@BindOnEquip where oh where is 120? i have a sickness and the only cure is BoE 120.

BrandonLStarr Brandon L Starr
@BindOnEquip Grats to Pants on Head for hitting Guild Level 25!

PallySayce PallySayce
@BindOnEquip @Wemb You’ve topped yourself with that Typefrag advert sir. I fell outta my chair laughing. Genius.

Nethwench Jules
@BindOnEquip yay, listening to it this morning at work!

Buggerwow Rick H
@BindOnEquip 121: roflmao @prin666cess “How old do you think the boys are?” regarding watching porn on @wemb’s puter
@BindOnEquip Name that accent for @PoHIronman. Funny as hell that you thought it was Aussie. Nad Buster was a mishmash of accents.
@BindOnEquip So @TheWych struck even though he wasn’t on the podcast. My file ended at exactly 1:30:00. Rofl

PallySayce PallySayce
@Buggerwow @BindOnEquip @PoHIronman sounded very Goblin/Jersey Shore/Godfather-ish to me. Maybe a little old school Sam Donaldson too.

Buggerwow Rick H
@PallySayce @bindonequip @pohironman Youre piecing it together.

Freakin_Ninja1 Eric Ergen
@BindOnEquip Great Rocks the Horde Section! It was interesting to hear it from the other side.

IzaaktheOrc Izaak
@Buggerwow @pallysayce @bindonequip @pohironman there was some Kennedy-esque massachusetts in there as well.

IzaaktheOrc Izaak
I feel like talking back to @bogadh hearing him on @BindOnEquip! Lol. EFF YOU BOGGIE!!!

Freakin_Ninja1 Eric Ergen
@BindOnEquip rather abrupt stop. good show! cant wait for part two of “Wargames, Oni Brothers not allowed together again”

PallySayce PallySayce
@IzaaktheOrc @Buggerwow @bindonequip @pohironman I’ll buy that. I could hear some Kennedy in there.

THE QUESTION IS….what would Blizzard have to do to get you to pug more?

IzaaktheOrc Izaak
@BindOnEquip more valor and justice points. Some kind of tier system whereby you get more for every random player. Oh yeah, and more gold.

Miraldhir Miraldhir
@BindOnEquip – find a way to make running these instances with a bunch of people you don’t know more interesting. Encourage pug socialising.

booft tim aka tranith
@BindOnEquip I already PuG a lot so not much. Full PuG atm get large health/damage/heal buffs making cata heroics too easy. Haven’t come across too much rudeness but I just leave group if there is with no guilt as it’s a PuG!

Manboner Man Bone
@BindOnEquip Provide better bandages so my Rogue can queue as a healer and then vanish just as the tank dies

Baresirbutt baresirbutt
@BindOnEquip Make so asshats can’t roll need on my spec gear. Like that they are changing, if you need on a boe, it becomes soulbound.

jasonetheridge Teo
@BindOnEquip A reputation/rating system that allows bad actions in PUGs to have consequences. Probably impractical, sadly.

CasualSlacks CasualSlacks

@BindOnEquip DPS-only 5-mans. Of course, I already pug, but if I didn’t have to wait an hour for tank/heals, I wouldn’t want to wowquit.

@BindOnEquip go to work for me so I would have more hours to play or just pay my bills

GrimmAIE Grimm
@BindOnEquip Only thing that could get me to pug would be to give me free WoW time for completing the run. Or free beer on my doorstep.

ozfin Stuart Graham
@BindOnEquip I pug all the time and usually things go pretty well, guess I’m lucky.

Tinokwow Tinock
@BindOnEquip I actually am a masocist and don’t mind pugs. But if blizzard wants to give me more, I guess that’s ok #freeloot

Rajtinka ed B
@BindOnEquip a Handy?

Mantufalf Sarah Connel
@BindOnEquip make need only available to appropriate classes for specific loot

PallySayce PallySayce
@BindOnEquip Cancel the accounts of all asshats. Other than that, it’s impossible when I have a guild like PoH to run with.

thebellman Robert Hook
@BindOnEquip provide a way to eliminate asshats from pugs…

Hads01 Hads
@BindOnEquip remove the dicks

Buggerwow Rick H
@BindOnEquip Boot everyone off WoW who isn’t in Pants On Head or Alea Esta Boosta Foosta (wtf!)

SPriest_Lucio Michael Ramirez
@BindOnEquip I pug now but with a few guildies. It is fun to watch the idiots and see their reaction when they invoke the rage.

Hads shot us a message to say he was listening to our podcast in the car on his way home, then he looked out the window and the car in front of him had BOE in the number plate!

Paii hit us up to give us some pointers on the Omnitron and Magmaw fights which we have taken onboard, and to give a shout to The Zen guild on sisters of Elune server, who got server first guild to level 25!

New guildie Badinkadink in POH dropped us a note to ask if there is someone he can send his green loot to for Disenchanting. He doesn’t really even want the mats but would like to help out. I’d suggest looking at the guild professions tab, pick an enchanter same level as you, and shoot him an ingame mail asking if he would like some extra mats to level with. Make a friend and help your guild in one hit. you could also then mail some velliums and get some enchants put on them for you to use.

The Daily Blink on Patch Notes:

Crazy Train.

After a set back with breaking in a new tank, we finally took down Omnitron. We had two attempts and got them to 8%, a few more goes with different people making silly mistakes, and then finally we took them down. It felt good to be back in that position. We then went on and took a quick look (two quick goes) at Magmaw with the new Ironman strategy. The strategy seemed to be easier to follow (even if it sounds complicated) and I think it won’t take us long to nail the dance and move onto Maloriak, which I have already had the pleasure of checking out.

Other Raids.

Temp: Almost got a gig with ironman on the weekend, but then a better geared healer arrived late so I offered to stand aside for the good of the raid .. my priest is still undergeared and working through heroics … I have been getting more practice at that …

Wemb: Did the usual sarth 3d run, and furnace master in ulduar for the weekly raid boss.

Temp: Even on holidays I am struggling to get the two per day that I need >< usually because I start one and it ends up being EPIC! I am one of those people that while we are making progress, I am happy to keep working at it, so they can go for a LONG time.

A couple of things I have learned …

I can’t heal through the second boss in Her Stone Core with 3 melee …

I can’t heal through SFK!

I am scared to even go into Grim Batol

How it feels to play DPS in pugs:

Pants On Head Guild.

Guild Status: 499 toons/12 accounts … /sigh

Guild Rank: Level 25! WOOHOO mounts for all our friends! Plus mass ressurection – fantastic after wipes or almost wipes!

Grats to Sedeuce (Wingy) and Nyterayne (Canyin) on 85!

Temp: I am 1000 points from being exalted with Hellscream (the Horde Tol Barad faction) and 11 commendations from getting my epic trinket on my mage.

Not sure which toon i should work on next. Either warrior and i concentrate on pvp, or priest and i have another crack at healing. Or just wait for my warlock to come through. I also have a low 50’s shammy and rogue on runetotem that i would like to bring here.

Temp: My priest is trying to work through heroic instances for two reasons, the justice points, and the gear. She is still 4 points from raid ready …

World events.

Noble Garden starts on Sunday 24th April.

Wemb: picked up a 346 staff from the stonecore. Also 359 feet courtesy of our buddy Mattief, and before that a generous late birthday present of 346 feet from Baresirbutt.

Temp: As I mentioned earlier working through for better gear for my priest, slowly replacing my 339 pvp crafted pieces, but also replacing some of my castery stuff with healing stuff. I sadly have 2 316 trinkets that are bringing me down, but I cannot buy anything better unless I want to spend 12k … there appears to be a couple of blue 325/333 tanking trinkets but NO healing or caster trinkets to speak of!

While we are on the topic of gear I learned something this week that I NEVER knew and was shocked that I could possibly have missed it, but apparently I did and I want to make sure that you did not…

At the valor point vendor, there are boots that you can buy that are NOT soulbound, they are BoE!!!! In Cata there was bracers that were BoE … I had badges that I could have used to buy my priest better gear!

Justice points.

Temp: I spent some of my JP’s on some BoA gear … I am now below 2k so need to work hard to get those back up … starting to panic at my lack of heroics to get them back! Only a week left I would assume, before the patch.

Wych: Got Exalted with Hyjal tonight – 39 of 40 for Exalted Reps

Wemb: Gotta get that guild rep up so i can have a sweet scorpion mount!

Temp: almost 2 cata reps at exalted … need to go back and do some questing in some zones I think … the thought of doing ER rep does my head in, so I think I will stay away from that one and leave that tabard on.

Temp: maxed out my first aid on my mage and priest this week.

My priest has made an epic belt for Grizz, the belt and pants for Canyin and Kevin is waiting on the pants as soon as my cooldowns are up. The deal I have for guildies is that if you provide the volatiles it takes then I can keep making my stash so that if another guildie comes along that needs it, hopefully I can make them something without them having to wait too long!

Had a couple of encounters in Tol Barad, Wych and I took care of a couple of cheeky alliance outside of our camp yesterday.

Today however while we had Tol Barad we were trying to do our dailies and a large group of pvp geared alliance decided to grief people while doing the top daillies. They made it impossible to finish which I thnk was their aim … and yes I realise it is a pvp zone in a pvp realm but griefing to prevent us from doing dailies in our allotted time was beyond stupid.

Jesse H – our sponsor from last week – I just wanted to say I’m sorry … Jesse.

Bugger and Sayce – who seperately said some very lovely things to me this week, and made my week.

DA Leary or Sunhighway in PoH who today said some lovely things in vent. You are awesome!

Wemb: Shout to the magnificent Mangrovejane. All i have to say is that you healed me, and i have the screenshots to prove it. How YOU doin?

Wych: Darkwich 78 Pali from DarkShogun on Jub Jub

Temp: I hope that whatever you are doing, wherever you are, you are truly happy.
